By accessing or using the Privane AI website, web applications, browser extension, or local offline tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of Privane products.

2. Description of Privane AI Services

Privane AI provides software that enables artificial intelligence model inference (including open neural models such as Gemma 2B) directly on client hardware via WebGPU and WebAssembly. Privane provides access to local AI chat interfaces, offline mini-AIs, PDF summarizers, meeting notes tools, and specialized workspace modules.

3. Hardware & Environment Requirements

Because Privane AI executes neural networks locally, performance depends directly on your device's hardware capabilities. Users are responsible for providing compatible hardware (such as a WebGPU-supported modern browser, Apple Silicon M-series processor, or dedicated GPU with adequate VRAM).

4. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You agree to use Privane AI in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You agree not to:

• Use Privane AI to generate unlawful, harmful, defamatory, fraudulent, or harassing content.
• Attempt to bypass software license key mechanisms or distribute unauthorized copies of enterprise software modules.
• Interfere with or compromise the security or integrity of our online website infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property & Output Ownership

Your Ownership: Privane AI claims zero ownership rights over the text, prompts, documents, or graphics you create or generate using Privane local models. All user-generated content remains exclusively yours.

Privane IP: All rights, title, and interest in and to the Privane AI brand, website design, UI components, custom tool software, and logos remain the exclusive intellectual property of Privane AI.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Privane AI software and services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Artificial intelligence models may occasionally produce incorrect, incomplete, or biased information. You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated outputs before relying on them for professional, medical, legal, or financial decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Privane AI, its founders, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of your use or inability to use Privane software.

8. Termination & Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of Privane products after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
